Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse Strikes Hard in Blossom Valley

Sadly, this is yet another community that has felt the heavy weight of recent drug addiction and substance abuse weighing heavily upon it. Drug addiction and substance abuse has been becoming a very serious issue all across the nation, and few areas are feeling the effects of the increase in all kinds and types of drug abuse and addiction quite as heavily as California is, and more specifically Northern California and the San Jose area.

Drug trafficking in the United States is sadly at an all time high with more drugs coming into the nation than perhaps there ever was before. this is indeed a crisis of epic proportions. The problem does not stop with illegal narcotics coming over the borders either. The greatest drug abuse issue in the United States lies in the use and abuse of totally legal and easy to find prescription drugs. In the United States today, more Americans die from prescription drug abuse than from all other forms of drug abuse. California and the San Jose area specifically are two leading areas for prescription drug abuse. It is feared that, if something is not down soon to reverse the dressing tide of drug addiction and abuse, then the problem will truly go overboard for the residents of Blossom Valley.
